Chitrika operates under www.chitrika.org and is associated with ALC India (www.alcindia.org).

Background

The Colors of Nature project, supported by Welt Hungerhilfe and co-funded by the European Union, aims to revolutionize India’s textile industry through circularity and plant-based dyes. Running from January 2025 to December 2029, the project empowers civil society organizations to advance ecological sustainability and economic inclusion for marginalized communities. As part of this initiative, Women Farmer Services Producer Companies (WFSPCs) managed under Chitrika require a robust digital tool to support their operations.

Ecosystem Users

The application will serve Digital Krishi Kendras (DKKs) and Digital Krishi Sakhis (DKS), who act as primary data collectors and service agents for farmers.
