National CSR Summit 2026 Highlights Collaboration for Last-Mile Development Impact

The National CSR Summit 2026, organised by AROH Foundation, concluded at the India International Centre in New Delhi on March 17, 2026, bringing together policymakers, corporate leaders, development practitioners, and multilateral agencies to strengthen India’s CSR ecosystem.

Summit Theme and Objectives

Held under the theme “Aligning for Last-Mile Impact: Community | Collaboration | Convergence”, the summit focused on enhancing partnerships and improving the effectiveness of CSR initiatives in driving inclusive development. The discussions aimed at contributing to India’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision by reducing resource duplication and creating operational frameworks for difficult terrains.

Key Highlights

The summit was inaugurated by Shri Lumba Ram Choudhary, Member of Parliament, who highlighted the importance of corporate participation in addressing development challenges in aspirational districts and tribal regions. Keynote speakers including Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, Arjan de Wagt, Dr. Jeevan Kumar Jethani, and Dr. Neelam Gupta shared insights on scaling impact across sectors.

Panel Discussions

A key panel moderated by Smt. Gayatri Subramaniam explored policy priorities and the evolving role of CSR in supporting national development goals, featuring leaders from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Education, and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.

Partner Organisations

Organisations including Habitat for Humanity India, PCI India, UNICEF India, Gates Foundation, Welthungerhilfe, and Powergrid contributed to discussions emphasising multi-stakeholder collaboration for sustainable development outcomes.

Way Forward

The summit underscored the need for convergence between government, corporates, and civil society, highlighting that collaborative approaches are essential to delivering measurable impact at the grassroots level. The “Community-Collaboration-Convergence” model aims to transform fragmented philanthropy into a sustainable, ecosystem-based approach for India’s unreached populations.
