Its key work areas include Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, EdTech, Early Childhood Education, and School Governance.

About This Role

This internship offers hands-on exposure to state-level education reform and school quality assurance in Nagaland. The intern will work with the School Governance team on drafting documents, supporting stakeholder coordination, and contributing to structured documentation processes that inform state-level decision-making. The team is currently supporting the foundational work toward establishing the State School Standards Authority (SSSA) and designing pilot initiatives to strengthen school quality systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of tools, templates, and materials required for pilot initiatives
  • Support documentation of meetings and stakeholder consultations
  • Assist in organizing and structuring data using Google Sheets and Excel
  • Contribute to compilation of briefs and reports
  • Provide general research and documentation support to the School Governance team
Candidate Profile
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail, especially in reviewing and structuring documents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Google Sheets, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs
  • Interest in school systems, quality assessment, or education governance
  • Prior experience in education projects, research, or fieldwork is an advantage

Duration: 2-3 months – Start Date: Immediate – Mode: In-person, full-time – Stipend: INR 12,500 – 15,000 per month
